Note that Amazon in the U.K. had hinted (earlier this year) that the original Mad Max would be released on 4K Ultra HD format as well this year, but there’s no word of it here. Meanwhile, you can see the cover artwork for both versions above left and below (Amazon links for the Mad Max titles aren’t up yet but will be added as soon as they go live)...

Also, as you can see from the artwork above, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has set Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie for Blu-ray and DVD release on 11/29.

AMC and Anchor Bay will release The Walking Dead: The Complete Season 6 on Blu-ray in Limited Edition Truck Walker packaging on 11/1 (SRP $149.99). Here’s what that looks like (click the image to pre-order it on Amazon.com)...

And (again) as you can see by the cover artwork above, there’s a new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Dario Argento’s European Cut of Zombi – aka George Romero’s Dawn of the Dead (1978) – coming to Italy on 11/17. There are apparently 4 discs in the set, including both the theatrical and extended cuts in HD. It’s distributed by Koch Media and presented by Nicolas Winding Refn. The included Blu-ray will no doubt be Region B, but the 4K disc should work worldwide and it will have both English and Italian audio and subtitles.
