First up, we have a good new title announcement. Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios have just set Star Wars: Rebels – Complete Season Two for Blu-ray and DVD release on 8/30. You’ll get all 22 episodes (1.78:1 – 1080p) with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio on Blu-ray, along with 20 Rebel Recons clips, and 2 featurettes (Connecting the Galaxy: Rebels Season Two and the BD-exclusive From Apprentice to Adversary: Vader vs. Ahsoka). First up, we’ve been waiting to hear back from Paramount regarding their plan to fix the error in the Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan – Director’s Cut Blu-ray and initiate a replacement program. Our sources tell us that this is going to happen, it’s just a matter of the studio getting all the details lined up and then making an announcement.
