Lou Lumenick, the film editor for The New York Post, contacted Harris about the project and received this reply: [Read on here…]

Pick-Ups for the Week of January 18, 2016 – Scream Factory Catch-Up: Volume 3
Welcome back to a new edition of Pick-Ups!
Thanks for joining me this week for a new edition of Scream Factory Catch-Up, where I attempt to get ahead on some of Scream Factory’s Blu-ray releases. They release content so frequently that it’s sometimes difficult to keep up with it all (not that I’m complaining). [Read on here...]
My Favorite Movies & Blu-rays of 2015
Well, I promised a couple of “Best of” lists, and here they are (I was a bit of an overachiever and got the lists done quickly, so... you’re welcome). Please keep in mind that this is simply my personal favorite movies or titles based on what I’ve actually seen throughout 2015 and it doesn’t necessarily represent both sides of the industry as a whole. We’ve got a little bit of news today, and also some new Blu-ray reviews to mention, but first I want to call your attention to my editorial yesterday on my experiences of Ultra HD Blu-ray at CES, and what I think it means for A/V enthusiasts and movie fans going forward. You’ll find it here. Do give it a look.
Now then, we’ve posted a trio of new Blu-ray reviews over the last couple of days. Look for Tim’s take on Ghost Story (1981) and the Troll/Troll 2 double feature. Also, Jim’s offered up his thoughts on Shout! Factory’s Bolero/Ghost’s Can’t Do It double feature. [Read on here…]
