All right, let’s wrap up this week in style, shall we?

We’ve got a final Halloween Hangover “Leftover” review for you today from our own Tim Salmons: A look at Freddie Francis’ Dr. Terror’s House of Horrors (1965) now available on Blu-ray from Olive Films. If you’ve enjoyed Tim’s review work this Halloween season, be sure to drop him a note on his Facebook page and send him a little love. He’s worked hard and done a fantastic job. Well done, Tim!

I should also mention that I’ve just gotten a few big new Blu-ray titles (for some of the bigger spring and summer films) and I’m going to be posting reviews next week. So be sure to stay tuned for them.  [Read on here…]

Tim’s got another Halloween Hangover “leftover” Blu-ray review for you today, which is a perfect follow-up from yesterday’s review. It’s a look at Shout! Factory’s The Return of Count Yorga, which is now available on BD.

Also today here at The Bits, our own Russell Hammond has posted the weekly Release Dates & Artwork update, featuring all the latest Blu-ray and DVD cover artwork, with Amazon.com pre-order links. Please remember that anything you order from Amazon after clicking to them through our links goes to help support our work here at The Bits and we are incredibly grateful for it. Okay... we’re starting a new week with a new Tim Salmons column, featuring this year’s Halloween Hangover “leftovers”. Each day this week, Tim will be posting another Blu-ray review – just a few good titles that either came in too late to be part of the regular Hangover, or that didn’t make the cut for one reason or another. Today’s is a look at Twilight Time’s Count Yorga, Vampire. Do check it out.  [Read on here…]

We’ve got a trio of Blu-rays for you to enjoy today...

First up, Tim’s Halloween Hangover review is none other than Dan Curtis’ 1976 Burnt Offerings, now available on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber.

I’ve also posted a pair of Blu-ray reviews of my own looking atSony’s new The Fifth Element: Cinema Series and Léon: The Professional – Cinema Series. Both discs arrived in stores on Tuesday and are worth a look. Note that each title is available in deluxe “clear case” packaging and also regular Blu-ray cases. The regular versions are the exact same discs for less money – only the packaging is different. See the reviews for all the details.  [Read on here…]
