Now then, the big news today is that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has set Ghostbusters: Afterlife for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 2/1 (SRP $24.99, $19.99, and $29.99 respectively). You can see the cover artwork above left and also below. We don’t yet have details on the extras that will be included, but HDR10 high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos audio seem likely in terms of AV specs. That same day you’ll also a Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection on Blu-ray (SRP $55.99) and 4K Ultra HD ($149.99) that will include the original Ghostbusters (1984) along with Ghostbusters II and Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Here’s what that looks like (click on the image to pre-order the set on Amazon)...
Also now up for pre-order on Amazon is Spider-Man: No Way Home on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD. Street date is TBA, but expect it to arrive sometime in early March. The cover artwork can be seen below.
Meanwhile, Vinegar Syndrome will be releasing Herman Yau’s Ebola Syndrome (1996) on 4K Ultra HD on 1/25.
And Kino Lorber Studio Classic’s Hard Target—with corrected audio—is now set to street 2/22. Adjust your plans accordingly.
Here’s a look at the cover art for a bunch of new Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD titles, all of which are now available for pre-order on Amazon.com just by clicking on the covers. As always, as an Amazon affiliate, a portion of anything you order from the retailer in the same shopping session after clicking through to them from one of our links goes to help support The Bits and we greatly appreciate it!
That’s all for now! Stay tuned...
