While we’re talking Warner Bros., the studio’s forthcoming Mars Attacks! 4K Ultra HD release is now available for pre-order on Amazon and elsewhere. Right now, the 4K Steelbook is up on Amazon (here’s the link) but there should be a wide-release SKU as well. The street date is TBA, but we expect it to be sometime in July.
Also, the studio is now taking pre-orders on the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release of Mortal Kombat II (2026) as well as a double feature of that with Mortal Kombat (2021). The street date is TBA.
And from Warner’s Adult Swim, look for Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal: The Complete Third Season (2026) on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/30.
Here’s something interesting: Severin Films is getting ready to release a couple of nuclear war films in 4K Ultra HD on 7/28, including Mick Jackson’s Threads (1984) and Peter Watkins’ BBC documentary The War Game (1965).

Kino Lorber Studio Classics has revealed that they’re working on a great new 3-film collection for 4K Ultra HD release in August: Italo-Crime! It’ll include director Alberto De Martino’s The Counsellor (1973) and Blazing Magnum (1976), as well as Mario Caiano’s Weapons of Death (1977). Note that these will be 4K SDR, and the street date is TBA.
The folks at Second Sight in the UK have just teased that they’ve acquitted the rights to release Mary Bronstein’s If I Had Legs I’d Kick You (2025) on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD. Watch for further details soon.
And Universal has just set The Office: The Complete Series – Superfan Extended Episodes for release on Blu-ray on 7/14. The set will collectively include an additional 25 hours of content added to the original broadcast episodes.
There’s an interesting Kickstarter going that some of you want to check out: Classic animation fans Mauricio Alvarado and Brandon Adams are working on a new silent film Blu-ray called Silent Cartoon All Stars: Volume 1. It will include 20 shorts from the silent author featuring Winsor McCay’s Gertie the Dinosaur, Disney’s Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Felix the Cat, Koko the Clown, and other classic characters. You’ll find that here.
