Now then… in announcement news today, Kino Lorber Studio Classics has revealed that Howard Hawks’ El Dorado (1966) is “coming soon” to 4K Ultra HD. That’s a Paramount Western featuring John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, and James Caan, featuring a screenplay co-written by Leigh Brackett (The Empire Strikes Back) and music by Nelson Riddle (the 1966 Batman). All right folks, after 54 years, human beings finally return to the Moon today!

That’s right, today is Lunar Flyby Day for the Artemis II astronauts.

Of course, as you guys probably already know, I’m gonna be watching the hell out of this thing today. So if I’m difficult to reach or slow to respond today, that’s way.

But then you guys knew that already, didn’t you?

I do, however, have one big piece of great 4K Ultra HD news to share with you all today.

Remember how we first told you (way back in December) about Warner’s catalog 4K Ultra HD plans for 2026 (link here)?

Well, another one of those titles is now officially up for pre-order on Amazon UK, and it’s none other than Tim Burton’s Mars Attacks! (1996).

Dennis’ look at Blake Edwards’ The Pink Panther (1963) in 4K Ultra HD from Kino Lorber Studio Classics.

We’ll start with official word that Lionsgate is distributing Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair widely on Digital next week, on 2/17. In fact, you can find it available for pre-order on Apple TV right now. We’re told the Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD physical release is coming later this year from Lionsgate.

A24 has just announced that Josh Safdie’s Best Picture-nominated film Marty Supreme (2025) is coming soon to Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD. [Read on here...]
