Now then, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has just officially set the recent remake of Flatliners for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 12/26, with the Digital HD version expected on 12/12. No 4K version is currently planned. Extras on the Blu-ray will include deleted and extended scenes and 4 featurettes (Reviving a Cult Classic, Making the Rounds, Just What the Director Ordered, and The Ultimate Question). Also today, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release of the animated Batman: Gotham by Gaslight on 2/6/2018 (SRP $24.98, $19.98, and $39.99, respectively). The Digital release is expected on 1/23. Both Blu-ray versions will include audio commentary with producer Bruce Timm, director Sam Liu, and writer Jim Krieg, the Caped Fear: The First Elseworld featurette, and a sneak peek at the forthcoming Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay animated film.
Here’s some news we’re really excited about: Lionsgate Home Entertainment has just announced that they’re releasing last year’s outstanding heist/western Hell or High Water on 4K Ultra HD on 2/13/18! The disc will also include the previous Blu-ray version with all of its extras. The 4K disc will also feature Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
RLJE Films has now officially announced the Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release of Joe Lynch’s Mayhem on 12/26. The film stars Steven Yeun. Extras will include audio commentary, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and more. We’ve naturally updated our handy 4K Ultra HD Release List with all of these new titles for your easy reference.
And MVD Entertainment has set the Morrissey biopic England Is Mine for release on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital on 12/12.
