Disney has just set Disneynature’s Born in China for Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital HD release on 8/29.
And Kino Lorber has also revealed that Billy Wilder’s Avanti (1972) and George Mendeluk’s Stone Cold Dead (1979) are coming to their Studio Classics line in October. They’re also bringing the 3D classic The Maze (1953), directed by William Cameron Menzies to Blu-ray 3D and DVD (street date TBA).
Now then… back to the Saturn Awards…
We’d like to start by taking a moment to give our old friend Cliff Stephenson a shout-out this morning. Cliff’s outstanding special features work on Lionsgate’s Hannibal: The Complete Series Blu-ray set won him the Saturn for Best DVD/BD Television Series Release last night! The truth is, Cliff’s been knocking it out of the park with his Blu-ray, DVD, and now 4K special features for a very long time now, but this is his first Saturn win. It’s well deserved and long overdue. Congratulations, Cliff! We’re proud of you.
Here’s the complete list of Saturn winners, hot off the wires from our friend Ed Peters and Sue Procko PR…
