All right, we’ve got a couple of things to note today...

First up, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has set Shameless: The Complete Tenth Season for DVD only release on 5/12. You’ll get all 12 episodes plus deleted scenes for just $22.99.

While we’re talking Warner Bros, our friends at the Warner Archive have just announced their May Blu-ray slate, which is set to include Michael Curtiz’s Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933), Robert Mulligan’s Inside Daisy Clover (1966), and Lucifer: The Complete Fourth Season on 5/12, followed by Gregory Nava’s Selena (1997) and Peter Tewksbury’s Sunday in New York (1964) on 5/19, and Vincente Minnelli’s The Reluctant Debutante (1958) on 5/26. Meanwhile, Kino Lorber Studio Classics has set Val Guest’s The Day the Earth Caught Fire (1961) for Blu-ray and DVD release on 7/7, along with John Gilling’s The Flesh and the Fiends (1960). Following on 7/14 are Edward F. Cline’s Never Give a Sucker an Even Break (1941) and Norman Z. McLeod’s The Paleface (1948). They’ve also announced that John Ford’s Hell Bent (1918) is coming soon to Blu-ray, mastered from a new 4K restoration. Also coming soon are Jerry London’s Killdozer (1974 TV movie) and Ralph Nelson’s Soldier Blue (1970).

And Icarus Films has set The Venerable W. for DVD only release on 5/19.

For those of you in search of a good deal, our friends at MVD Entertainment are having a huge Midnight Movie Society 50% off sale on over 800 underground, taboo, and cult horror titles from VCI, WildEye, Unearthed Films, SRS, and more. The sale runs until Monday, 4/27. You can find all the details here.

Also, be aware that Paramount has adjusted the street dates for a few of their upcoming titles... the Braveheart: 25th Anniversary 4K Steelbook, Gladiator 20th Anniversary 4K Steelbook, and Friday the 13th: 40th Anniversary Blu-ray Steelbook are all now set to street on 6/16.

Meanwhile, Paramount has set the Paramount Presents title Flashdance for Blu-ray release on 5/19, with South Park: Season 23 following on Blu-ray and DVD on 6/23.

And while we’re talking Paramount, I got a great response to my 24-hour poll on Twitter (see the results here) asking whether people were interested in a physical 4K Ultra HD release of Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Nearly 2,200 people responded and almost 82% of you said that you would indeed like to buy the film on 4K disc.

NOW... as a follow-up, I’ve started a second poll on Twitter asking people who want classic Star Trek films in 4K whether they want “just the hits” or ALL of the classic Original Series and Next Generation film properly remastered on the format. This new poll has only been up for three hours now and already over 1,000 people have responded. So be sure to vote, share the poll widely to reach as many Trek and 4K fans as possible, and feel free to follow me on Twitter as well. Rest assured, the powers that be at Paramount will see the results.

All right, that’s all for today. Stay tuned!
