Over 90 minutes of extras will be included in the form of Laurent Bouzereau’s 13-part The Stories of West Side Story documentary (composed of Opening, Prologue, Sharks & Jets, Dance at the Gym, The Romance, America, Gee, Officer Krupke, Cool, From Quintet to the Rumble, I Feel Pretty, Somewhere, Finale, and Tribute). Our 4K UHD Release List here at The Bits has been updated accordingly.

The studio has set The Exorcism of God for on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital that same day.

A24 has dropped Valdimar Jóhannsson’s Lamb on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD as an exclusive on their website. You can find that here. The 4K includes Dolby Vision HDR, along with 4 deleted scenes, a VFX reel, 2 short films by the director, and a booklet with artwork and more. Thanks to Bits reader Devon B. for the heads-up.

Well Go USA has set Rich Ragsdale’s horror/thriller The Long Night for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 4/5. The Digital version is already available.

And ClassicFlix is releasing The O. Henry Playhouse: The Complete Series – Volume 2 (1957) on DVD only on 3/22.

Finally today, we’ve confirmed that Criterion has launched a replacement program to address the video errors on their 4K Ultra HD release of A Hard Day’s Night. The company expects to have the fixed discs on hand in March. To take advantage of it, email them the following (at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.):

  • Your name and a mailing address that will be valid for at least the next 3 months
  • A photo of the defective A Hard Day’s Night 4K UHD disc with your name and date written on the front/art side (using a sharpie or paint marker – you can write this info on the lighter portion of the disc, and take a photo against a light source so your name and date are visible). You do not need to break the disc.
  • The Blu-ray and DVD of A Hard Day’s Night are not affected and do not need to be replaced

Thanks to Bits reader Justin K. for the heads-up on that.

That’s all for now! Stay tuned...
