First up, Tim’s Halloween Hangover review is none other than Dan Curtis’ 1976 Burnt Offerings, now available on Blu-ray from Kino Lorber.
I’ve also posted a pair of Blu-ray reviews of my own looking atSony’s new The Fifth Element: Cinema Series and Léon: The Professional – Cinema Series. Both discs arrived in stores on Tuesday and are worth a look. Note that each title is available in deluxe “clear case” packaging and also regular Blu-ray cases. With Paramount’s long-awaited (and lovingly-restored) My Fair Lady: 50th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray finally arriving in stores today, our own Michael Coate has published a look back at the film’s original theatrical release along with a new roundtable interview with historians about the film’s legacy.
