Also today, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment is releasing a 4K Steelbook SKUs of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining (1980) and Stephen Norrington’s Blade (1998) on 2/4. And they also have a 4K Steelbook of Lee Cronin’s Evil Dead Rise (2023) coming on 2/18.
For horror fans, Bleeding Skull will release William Kersten’s Disembodied (1998) in 4K UHD on 1/28.
For UK readers, Eureka! Entertainment has set a Mabuse Lives! Dr. Mabuse at CCC: 1960-1965 Blu-ray box set for release on 3/31. It will include The 1000 Eyes of Dr. Maubse (1960), The Return of Dr. Mabuse (1961), The Invisible Dr. Mabuse (1962), The Testament of Dr. Mabuse (1962), Scotland Yard Hunts Dr. Mabuse (1963), and The Death Ray of Dr. Mabuse (1964), all produced by Germany’s Central Cinema Compagnie-Film GmbH. This release is part of Eureka’s Masters of Cinema series.
Radiance will release Alain Resnais’ Je t’aime, je t’aime (1968) on Blu-ray on 3/24.
StudioCanal has set Paddington in Peru (2024) and a Paddington: 3-Film Collection for Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD release on 2/17.
And the BFI will release Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light (2024) on Blu-ray on 3/17.
By the way, if you’re looking forward to Miloš Forman’s Amadeus (1984) in 4K Ultra HD, Warner in the UK is releasing an elaborate Collector’s Edition package with additional swag on 3/10.
