Speaking of Arrow, it appears that the company has quietly launched a new sub-label called Toy Robot Video. And they’ve announced that they’re bringing a number of great deep cut genre films to disc, including Gary Goddard’s long-awaited Masters of the Universe (1987) on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, and Steve Wang’s Guyver: Dark Hero (1994), Daniel DelPurgatorio’s Marshmallow (2025), Kosei Saito’s Ninja Wars (1982), Norifumi Suzuki’s Roaring Fire (1981), and Junya Sato’s Manhunt (1976) all on Blu-ray. Great news indeed!
Also today, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has just listed the next 4K catalog title we’ve been expecting for pre-order on Amazon UK, Zavvi, and other UK retailers… Frank Oz’s Little Shop of Horrors (1986). There’s no street date indicated, but I would expect it to arrive perhaps in August or September.

Vinegar Syndrome’s Cinématographe label will release William Friedkin’s The Boys in the Band (1970) in 4K on 8/11.
And finally, Paramount keeps recycling old 4K releases in new packaging via Alliance Entertainment, including Martin Brest’s Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and Phillip Noyce’s Clear and Present Danger (1994) in 4K Steelbook on 8/11.
That’s all for now! Stay tuned…
