In terms of announcement news, there’s not much today, except that our friend Frosty over at Collider has managed to learn (in a video interview with J.J. Abrams) that the Force Awakens will probably have about 10-20 minutes worth of deleted scenes, some of which will almost certainly end of up on the eventual Blu-ray. You can check that out here.
Also today, Lionsgate has The Last Witch Hunter arriving on Blu-ray and DVD on 2/2. They’ve also set Man Up and Freeheld both for BD and DVD release on 2/2.
Arrow Video has set the Death Walks Twice: Two Films by Luciano Ercoli (includes Death Walks on High Heels and Death Walks at Midnight) Blu-ray/DVD Combo box set for release on 3/29 (SRP $69.95). The company has also set Black Mama, White Mama for Blu-ray release on 3/22 (SRP $29.95), as well as Rage of Honor on 3/15 (SRP $29.95).
And Mill Creek Entertainment is releasing Kevin Connor’s 2004 Frankenstein: The Miniseries on Blu-ray on 2/16 (SRP $14.98). It stars Alec Newman, Julie Delpy, Donald Sutherland, and William Hurt.
We’ll leave you today with a look at Blu-ray cover artwork for some of the titles we’ve just mentioned (with Amazon pre-order links if available)...
Have a great weekend. See you Monday!
