CBS and Paramount will also release Under the Dome: Season Two on Blu-ray and DVD on 12/9 as well. Extras will include 4 featurettes (Stephen King & Season 2, Filming the Season Premiere, A Journey Through Season 2, and The Visual Effects of Season 2). SRP is $76.99 and $65.99.
Universal has set A Walk Among the Tombstones for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/13. The film stars Liam Neeson. Extras on the Blu-ray will include the exclusive Matt Scudder: Private Eye featurette as well as A Look Behind the Tombstones, which is available on both disc formats.
Magnolia will release Two Faces of January on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/13.
Entertainment One has Left Behind set for Blu-ray and DVD on 1/6.
Lionsgate will release the supernatural thriller Jessabelle on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/13.
Well Go USA Entertainment has set The Pirates for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/20.
And Film Chest Media Group has apparently digitally restored the ‘70s, B-movie, cult classic Don’t Look in the Basement and will release it on DVD only on 12/16.
Also, you may have noticed that a number of Fox and MGM catalog are appearing for pre-order on Blu-ray on Amazon in early January. It appears that most – if not all – of these are meant to be simply repackaged and re-promoted titles, not new editions. Just FYI.
