Meanwhile, Powerhouse Films’ Indicator label in the UK have just revealed two new Jean Rollin catalog titles coming to Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD in both the UK and US in December: Requiem for a Vampire (1972) and The Escapees (1981). Both 4K discs will feature Dolby Vision HDR and the original mono audio, along with a host of special features. You can see that cover artwork below as well.

So is are pre-orders for Josh Cooley’s animated Transformers One (2024) in Blu-ray, DVD, 4K Ultra HD & 4K Steelbook from Paramount.
And finally today, we’ve learned from Warner Bros (via Zavvi) exactly what’s going on with the 4K Ultra HD release of David Fincher’s Se7en (1995). Here’s the studio’s official statement (thanks to Bits reader Andrew S. for the heads-up)...
“Thank you for your patience whilst we’ve developed our 4K restoration plans for David Fincher’s Seven. We’re pleased to announce that the restoration will finally be released in early 2025, with a brand-new 4K scan carefully overseen by Fincher.
“We will be releasing two products: a Digipak and a Steelbook release, both developed and designed by the director himself. These products will replace the previously announced What’s in the Box and Ultimate Collector’s Edition versions.
“Pre-order for the new products will go live in early November. Apologies again for the delay, and thank you for understanding. We can’t wait for you to experience Seven in more detail and depth than ever before.
“Apologies for any inconvenience this cancellation might cause, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding.
“Thanks again for your support, we’re excited to share this new release with you soon!”
So there you have it. The existing SKUs are officially cancelled, but new 4K UHD and 4K Steelbook SKUs for forthcoming for pre-order in November and release in early 2025. Our 4K Ultra HD Release List here at The Bits has been updated accordingly.
