In announcement news today, Well Go USA has set IP Man: The Final Fight for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/12.
Funimation is re-issuing the classic anime Akira on Blu-ray Combo on 11/12 as a 25th Anniversary Edition (SRP $34.98). The company also has the anime Wolf Children set for release on Blu-ray Combo on 11/26.
Image Entertainment has set a My Name is Nobody: 40th Anniversary Edition for 11/5 (SRP $24.98).
Shout! Factory has set Transformers Prime: Season Three – Beast Hunters for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 12/3.
Meanwhile, Scream Factory has set Saturn 3 for Blu-ray Combo release on 12/3, and they’ve just announced that they’re releasing the 1965 shocker Die, Monster, Die! on Blu-ray Combo early in 2014! The film stars the legendary Boris Karloff.
Also today, we’ve heard back from Warner Home Video: They currently have no plans to release Richard Linklater’s Before Sunrise and Before Sunset on Blu-ray. This despite the fact that Sony is releasing the third film in the series, Before Midnight, on BD on 10/22. But I think we can change their minds on this, so be sure to let them know you want these titles on BD in any way you can.
Warner does, as it happens, have The Hangover Trilogy coming on Blu-ray on 12/3 (SRP $57.98) for what it’s worth.
And from the Paramount catalog, Warner is releasing Serpico on Blu-ray for the first time on 12/3 as well (SRP $19.98).
