Dom Hemingway, Kino Lorber's August catalog BDs, Sorceress, new CBS TV & more

Breakheart Pass coming to Blu-ray

Just a quick one today with a few more new title announcements. First though, it looks like more media outlets have picked up our Warner/Amazon story today, including Wired. Fascinating how this is going viral.

Now then... in announcement news today, 20th Century Fox has set Dom Hemingway (starring Jude Law) for Blu-ray and DVD release on 7/22.

Kino Lorber has announced new catalog Blu-rays for August, including Mr. Majestyk (1974), The Children’s Hour (1961), The Unforgiven (1960), and Breakheart Pass (1975) on 8/12, and The Party (1968), Cast a Giant Shadow (1966), On the Beach (1959), and What’s New Pussycat? (1965) on 8/26. [Read on here...]

Scorpion Releasing has set Sorceress (1982) for Blu-ray release on 8/19.

New Video Group has announced Night Movies (2013) for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 9/2.

Mill Creek is reissuing 20 Million Miles to Earth and It Came from Beneath the Sea on Blu-ray (for Sony) in a Ray Harryhausen Creature Double Feature on 8/19.

Music Box Films has set Age of Uprising: The Legend of Michael Kohlhaas for Blu-ray and DVD release on 8/26.

Big Screen Entertainment has Crimson Winter coming on Blu-ray and DVD on 8/12.

And CBS will release Blue Bloods: The Fourth Season on DVD on 9/9, along with Dynasty: The Final Season – Volume 1 and Dynasty: The Final Season – Volume 2. The comedy Kingpin is also coming on 9/9 on both DVD and extended edition Blu-ray.

Finally today, our friends over at TV Shows on DVD have an update on StarVista’s forthcoming The Wonder Years: The Complete Series that’s worth checking out.
