Mark A Altman
Mark A. Altman is a Columnist for The Digital Bits and the co-creator/executive producer of Cinemax's hit film noir anthology series Femme Fatales, for which he's also directed several episodes. He also produced the $30 million film adaptation of DOA: Dead or Alive, the award-winning Free Enterprise starring William Shatner and Eric McCormack and the cult favorite The Specials, and has been a producer on such hit TV series as USA Network's Necessary Roughness and ABC's Castle.
In addition to his film and TV work, Altman is the founding publisher of Geek Magazine and has contributed to such publications as The Boston Globe, Written By, L'Cinefage, Film Threat, The Manchester Guardian, The Boston Edge, Cult TV, Computer Player and Cinenfanastique (CFQ). He's also written numerous comic books for DC and Malibu Comics, including issues of Star Trek, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and (with Steve Kirozere), the acclaimed graphic novel Elvis Van Helsing.
