In announcement news this afternoon, Scream Factory has set Witchboard for Blu-ray/DVD Combo release on 2/4.
Disney will release The Fifth Estate on Blu-ray Combo on 1/28.
Sony has set Lake Bell’s In a World for release on Blu-ray, DVD and digital on 1/21. Extras on the Blu-ray will include deleted scenes, a director’s commentary and a gag reel.
Lionsgate has announced Night Train to Lisbon for DVD and digital release on 12/17. Lionsgate has also set Counting Cars: Season 2 – Volume 2 for DVD release on 1/21, followed by African-American Leaders: Past & Present on DVD on 1/28, and Seal Patrol and Swamp People: Season 4 on DVD release on 2/11. They also have Terry Fator: Live in Concert coming on DVD exclusively at Walmart and Redbox on 2/18.
Grindhouse Releasing has announced Sergio Sollima’s epic spaghetti western The Big Gundown for release on 12/10 as a 4-disc deluxe Blu-ray/DVD Combo. The film stars Lee Van Cleef. The set will include a 2K digital restoration of the uncensored English version (newly expanded with three additional scenes), a bonus BD of the complete 110-minute Italian director’s cut of the film, a bonus CD of Ennio Morricone’s soundtrack, interviews with director Sergio Sollima, actor Tomas Milian and screenwriter Sergio Donati, audio commentary by western film experts C. Courtney Joyner and Henry C. Parke, a 24-page booklet featuring liner notes by C. Courtney Joyner and Euro-music expert Gergely Hubai, extensive still galleries, trailers, TV spots and more.
Anchor Bay Films will release the action thriller Freezer on Blu-ray, DVD and digital on 1/21, followed by the documentary McConkey on DVD on 2/4.
Cinedigm and Sonar Entertainment will release the Hallmark Movie Channel film Shadow on the Mesa on DVD on 12/17.
For you U.K. readers and those in the States with all-region BD players, Arrow Films is releasing a Borgen Trilogy Box Set on Blu-ray and DVD on 12/16 in the U.K. It will include all three series of the Danish political series.
