Sony has also set the comedy The To Do List for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/19 (SRP $35.99 and $30.99). Extras will include 2 featurettes, deleted scenes, a gag reel and audio commentary with director Maggie Carey and Bill Hader.
And Sony has added Pirates of Tripoli to its 12/3 MOD DVD-R release slate, which already includes Passions, Help Me, Darling, Anastasia (1973), The Belle of Broadway, Elizabeth Taylor: Auction of a Lifetime and Salvage 1: Hard Water. The studio has also announced a slate of MOD DVD-R titles for release on 11/5, including Once Upon a Spy, Sail a Crooked Ship, The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case, Unknown Valley, Beach Patrol, Kill Me Quick, I’m Cold, Bambole! (a.k.a. The Dolls), Salvage 1: Golden Orbit, Breaking Up is Hard to Do (1979), Battle Dome: The Complete First Season and the Charley Chase Collection: Volume 2 (includes The Big Squirt, Calling All Doctors, From Bad to Worse, The Grand Hooter, His Bridal Fright, Many Sappy Returns, The Night Shirt Bandit, Pie a la Maid, The Sap Takes a Wrap, Teacher’s Pest, Time Out for Trouble and The Wrong Miss Wright). Note that the Salvage 1 titles are 2-part episodes from the 1979 ABC and Andy Griffith series. There are only 18 episodes in the whole show, so we’d love to think we might see a complete series box at some point.
Meanwhile, Universal has set Jobs for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/26. Extras will include deleted scenes, commentary with director Joshua Michael Stern and 3 featurettes (Ashton Kutcher is Steve Jobs, The Legacy of Steve Jobs and Jobs: Behind the Score).
The BBC and Warner have set Copper: Season Two for Blu-ray and DVD release on 1/7/14.
