Shout! Factory has announced the DVD only release of MADtv: Season Four on 11/12, including all 25 episodes on 4 discs.
Kino Lorber has set a Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde: Kino Classics Remastered Edition for Blu-ray Disc release on 12/17. That same day they’ll also release The Blue Angel: Kino Classics 2-Disc Ultimate Edition.
IFC Films has set the recent remake of Maniac (starring Elijah Wood) for Blu-ray and DVD release on 10/15. Extras will include audio commentary, a feature-length making of documentary, delete scenes, an alternate poster gallery and reversible cover artwork.
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has just announced some new titles for release on 12/3 as part of their MOD DVD-R program, including Passions, Help Me, Darling, Anastasia (1973), The Belle of Broadway, Elizabeth Taylor: Auction of a Lifetime and Salvage 1: Hard Water.
Lionsgate has set Anger Management: Volume Two for Blu-ray, DVD and digital release on 10/15.
Paramount and Comedy Central will release Bill Cosby: Far from Finished – Live in Concert on Blu-ray and DVD on 11/26.
The Cinema Guild will release Michael Sladek’s BAM150 on DVD on 11/19. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at America’s oldest performing arts center.
One Village and RLJ Entertainment have set Homecoming for DVD and digital release on 10/22.
Entertainment One will release Lost and Found on DVD on 10/15.
Arc Entertainment has set the family drama Storm Rider for DVD and VOD release on 10/22.
Grindhouse Releasing has just released An American Hippie in Israel on Blu-ray/DVD combo in a limited edition of 2,000. It’s available through Amazon.com and DiabolikDVD.com.
And for you Twilight fans, here’s something interesting from our friends at Collider: Director Bill Condon apparently created a “super cut” of Breaking Dawn: Parts 1 and 2. It was something done for the director himself, but it’s not going to be included in the ultimate box set due this fall. No word on when or if it might see the light of day, but you never know.
Finally today, do any of you live in the Philadelphia area? The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville is going to be showing a 175-minute, 35mm restored Academy Archive print of Sergio Leone’s classic spaghetti western Once Upon a Time in the West on 9/29.
