We’ll be back tomorrow to introduce Dennis and David properly, but in the meantime, we’ve got more 4K Ultra HD news for you today.

We’ve shaken the trees and gotten some major new information from our industry and retail sources on a number of forthcoming 4K Ultra HD titles. Here’s what we’ve learned...

Paramount’s The Hunt for Red October, Patriot Games, Clear & Present Danger, The Sum of All Fears, and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit will all street on 4K Ultra HD on 8/21.

Disney and Lucasfilm’s Solo: A Star Wars Story is now set for release on Blu-ray and 4K on 9/25, per our retail sources.

Meanwhile, Disney and Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War looks to set for Blu-ray and 4K release on 8/14.

Magnolia Pictures, it appears, will release Higher Power on Blu-ray and 4K on 8/14.

And here’s a nice surprise... we’ve now learned that Universal is quietly prepping both Les Miserables and Steven Spielberg’s Schindler’s List for 4K Ultra HD release in August and October, respectively.

Naturally, we’ve updated our 4K Ultra HD Release List here at The Bits with all of the information above.

We’ll be back with more news and reviews tomorrow, so stay tuned...!
