Scream Factory and IFC Midnight have also set the thriller Rent-a-Pal for release on Blu-ray on 3/9.
Lionsgate will release the Jackie Chan actioner Vanguard on Blu-ray and DVD on 3/9, with the Digital release expected on 3/2. The company also has Tara Miele’s Wander Darkly coming on Blu-ray and DVD on 2/9.
Universal has set Horizon Line for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 2/16. The Digital version is available now.
RLJE Films has set Jayro Bustamante’s Guatemalan horror film La Llorona for release on Digital HD only on 3/2.
Kino Lorber has just released the landmark 1972 documentary Nationtime on Blu-ray and DVD, mastered from a new 4K scan.
And for UK readers, Eureka has announced the April 19th Blu-ray release of Straight Shooting & Hell Bent: Two Films by John Ford. Each is mastered from new 4K restorations.
Also, in new film release news, Michael B. Jordan is starring as John Clark in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse on Amazon Prime on 4/30. It will be fascinating to see if there’s a crossover with Amazon’s Jack Ryan series at some point. Jordan apparently produced the action film through his own company Outlier Society. The film was directed by Stefano Sollima and is a co-production with Amazon Studios, Paramount, Skydance, and New Republic.
