Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher – Japanese animation house supreme Madhouse takes on a forced team-up for the ages: Punisher and Black Widow. Looks balls to the wall, I’m in.
Chinese Zodiac – Jackie Chan stars, produces, writes, directs and choreographs this reboot of his stellar Armor of God film series.
Delivery Man – Vince Vaughn stars in this remake of the 2011 Canadian film Starbuck focused on a guy who finds out his donated sperm resulted in 533 kids. Yikes.
Odd Thomas – Dean Koontz’ book series gets a respectable first film. Anton Yelchin stars as the titular hero, a guy who “sees dead people” who ends up having to save the world. Directed by Stephen “The Mummy” Summers.
The Past – 2013 Palme d’Or nominee and Iranian Oscar entrant for Best Foreign Language Film.
The Punk Singer: A Film About Kathleen Hanna (DVD Only) – Doc focuses on Kathleen Hanna, the Riot Girl prototype, lead singer of Bikini Kill and wife of Ad-Rock.
The Truth About Emanuel – Barbara Bach and Ringo Starr’s little girl Francesca “Tanner Hall” Gregorini give us another girl coming of age film. This one about a girl who learns that her pretty new neighbor (Jessica Biel) is a bit messed up.
Walking with Dinosaurs – The documentary turned kids movie hits home theaters this week.
Welcome to the Jungle – Jean Claude van Damme!
The Wolf of Wall Street – Scorsese! Hill! Leo! Other people! Anus coke! Anus candles! Other anus’! One billion f-words! I can keep it going, but won’t. Buy this movie.
