All right, I know we don’t get The Rumor Mill updated nearly as often as we should.  So how’s about a little holiday Rumor Mill cheer?  We’ll make that one of our New Year’s resolutions – to get more Rumor Mill updates going for you guys in 2014.

So here’s today’s installment…  [Read on here….]

Do you recall how we mentioned the TCM Festival in the daily My Two Cents column the other day?  And you recall that we mentioned two of the big titles being shown at this upcoming Festival are a pair of classic Universal film noir titles – Touch of Evil and Double Indemnity – both of which have recently been restored?

Well… you can probably guess where this is headed.  Yes indeed, Santa tells us there’s a pretty good chance you’ll see them both on Blu-ray Disc from Universal in 2014.  You European readers can already get them on Blu-ray from Eureka in the U.K., but they’ll be new to most U.S. readers (unless you have an all-region player).  So there.

Until next time, Happy Holidays!
