Just a quick one today as there’s not an abundance of release news to report.

Anchor Bay Films has set Battle of the Damned coming to BD and DVD on 2/18.  The action films stars Dolph Lundgren and features zombies, robots and what have you.

Lionsgate has Thanks for Sharing set for Blu-ray and DVD on 1/7, starring Gwyneth Paltrow.  Lionsgate also has Duck Dynasty: Season 4 coming on Blu-ray and DVD on 2/18.  [Read on here…]

Millennium will release the “Parkour thriller” Run on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/14.

Anchor Bay and RADiUS-TWC will release the indie film Concussion on DVD only on 1/28.

The British Super-8 film Donovan Slacks was just released on DVD and is now available on Amazon.  It has the distinction of being the last feature film shot on Kodachrome 40 Super 8 film stock.  Extras include commentary, deleted scenes and much more.

Here’s a trip: New Video Group and Drafthouse Films are releasing Giulio Paradisi’s trippy 1979 Italian sci-fi psychedelic head-trip The Visitor on Blu-ray on 3/4, in its restored and uncut version.  The cast includes Shelley Winters, Glenn Ford, Lance Henriksen, Franco Nero and Sam Peckinpah.  No kidding.  Extras will include a pair of audio commentaries, interviews with the cast and crew, the trailer and a 16-page booklet.

And RLJ Entertainment and Image will release Last Love on Blu-ray and DVD on 12/31, starring Michael Caine.

Stay tuned…
