The Digital release will also include a pair of exclusive features (Anatomy of a Scene: Prologue and the additional Bonnie’s Playtime deleted scene).
Here’s a look at the trailer for the release...
And here’s the cover artwork for both Blu-ray SKUs...
As you can see, we added one more 4K title there... Lionsgate has just made Luc Besson’s new action film, Anna, official for Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD release on 9/24 (SRP $24.99, $19.98, and $29.99, respectively), with the Digital release expected on 9/10. The 4K will include both Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio. The regular Blu-ray will also include Atmos. Extras on both versions will include 4 featurettes (Dressing a Doll: Costumes of Anna, Anatomy of a Scene: Restaurant Fight, Unnesting a Russian Doll: Making Anna, and Constructing the Car Chase).
Oh, we’re not done yet... it hasn’t been officially announced yet but we have final cover artwork and a street date for Warner’s long-awaited 4K Ultra HD release The Wizard of Oz! Look for it to street on 10/29, as expected. And here’s the final wide-release cover art (click to pre-order the title on Amazon.com)...
We’ll post the details as soon as they come in from the studio, which should be anytime. Naturally, we’ve updated our 4K Ultra HD Release List here at The Bits accordingly.
And finally here at the site, we have two more new Blu-ray reviews, including Tim’s take on Alice, Sweet Alice from Arrow Video and Dennis’ thoughts on Alfred Hitchcock’s Murder! (1930) from Kino Lorber Studio Classics. Enjoy!
Back tomorrow with more. Stay tuned...
