The 4K will be a 66GB disc, with Dolby Atmos audio and (I believe) HDR10 HDR (I’ve asked for confirmation about Dolby Vision as well and will update this post when I hear back).
The Blu-ray SKUs will include a TON of great special features, including audio commentary (by director Dan Trachtenberg, producer Ben Rosenblatt, director of photography Jeff Cutter, and stunt coordinator Jacob Tomuri), Deleted & Pre-Visualization Scenes with optional audio commentary (including Sand Trap, Squirt Canyon, Tessa vs. Abe, Razor Grass, The Outpost, and Super Power Loader Extended), and multiple behind-the-scenes featurettes (including Embodying the Predator, Authentic Synthetics, Building the Badlands, and Dek of the Yautja). You can see the cover artwork above left and also here below…

Also today, Disney’s Tron: Ares (2025) arrives on physical media next week, but the Digital version is now available, and the title officially begins streaming exclusively on Disney+ on 1/7.
Universal’s Wicked for Good (2025) is available Digitally today, while the Blu-ray, DVD, 4K Ultra HD, and 4K Limited Edition Gift Sets will street on 1/20 and 2/4 (for the Gift Sets) respectively.
Our friends at Kino Lorber Studio Classics have just revealed that John Krish’s Unearthly Stranger (1963) is coming soon to Blu-ray, while David Schmoeller’s The Seduction (1982) is coming soon to 4K Ultra HD.
And the good folks at Arrow Video have now begun teasing the 4K Ultra HD release of Paul Anderson’s Mortal Kombat (1995) early in 2026. That’s a New Line title licensed to Arrow by Warner Bros.
Finally today, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has at long last revealed the final 4K Steelbook artwork for their forthcoming release of William Wyler’s Ben-Hur (1959)—for which we also finally have an official street date: 2/17! Here’s a look at that (and you can click on the image below to pre-order the title from Amazon)…
The 4K disc will include Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio, audio commentary by historian T. Gene Hatcher with Charlton Heston, and a music-only audio track! The bonus Blu-ray will include the legacy special features along with two new ones: Ben-Hur: Anatomy of an Epic and The Cinematography of Scale.
That’s all for now. I’ll be back tomorrow afternoon with one last My Two Cents post for 2025… and I’m going to reveal a great 4K catalog title that’s coming in 2026!
Stay tuned…
