Only the Brave, LEGO Ninjago Movie, Vestron update w/Class of 1999, upcoming Kino Lorber & more

All right, we’ve got another release news update for you to round out the week. So let’s get right to it…

First up, Warner Bros. has set The LEGO Ninjago Movie for release on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD on 12/19.

Lionsgate’s next pair of Vestron Video Collector’s Series Blu-ray titles, due on 1/30, are Class of 1999 and Gothic.

Only the Brave is apparently coming from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on Blu-ray, DVD and possibly 4K on 2/6/18. Pre-orders for the first two formats are now open on Amazon.com. [Read on here…]

Universal has set Death Race: Beyond Anarchy for release on Blu-ray and DVD on 1/30. The studio will also release Breathe on both formats on 1/2, followed by Marshall on both formats on 1/9.

By the way, we mentioned yesterday that Fletch Lives, Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid, and For Richer or Poorer are coming to Blu-ray from Universal on 12/26. Also coming that day from the studio is The Paper.

Well Go USA will release Legend of the Naga Pearls on both formats on 1/30.

And finally today, Indicator and Powerhouse Films have announced their Blu-ray release slate for February 2018, which is set to include Stanley Kramer’s Ship of Fools (1965) and the Hammer: Volume Two – Criminal Intent box set which will feature Guy Green’s The Snorkel (1958), Val Guest’s The Full Treatment (1960), Cyril Frankel’s Never Take Sweets from a Stranger (1960), and Quentin Lawrence’s Cash on Demand (1961). Both releases will street on 2/19.
