All right, we’ve got a pair of new disc reviews for you…

Tim has taken a look at Lionsgate’s recent Vestron Video Collector’s Series titles, including Dagon and Beyond Re-Animator. Both are worth your consideration, so enjoy the reviews!

Also today, don’t forget that I’ll be at Comic-Con this evening to host the Breaking News from Shout! Factory and Scream Factory panel with Brian Ward and Jeff Nelson. The panel runs from 7-8PM in Room 32AB and there’s a whole bunch of great titles going to be announced! Trust me, I’ve seen the list. You guys are going to dig these. We’ll also have Q&A and a lot of fun, so be sure to join us if you’re down in San Diego tomorrow.

If not, we’ll post the details here on The Bits on Saturday, rest assured. And if you follow me on Twitter (@BillHuntBits), I’ll post the details there immediately after the panel. [Read on here...]

Speaking of Saturday, our friends at Warner Archive are going to be revealing their forthcoming Batman: The Complete Animated Series Blu-ray release during their panel at the show this weekend. We’ll have all the details as soon as they’re revealed. But in the meantime, we do have something cool to show you right now… the cover artwork for the package. Here it is…

Batman: The Complete Animated Series (Blu-ray Disc)

The title isn’t yet available for pre-order on Amazon, but it does have a listing and an SRP of $112.99 (expect it to be on sale for the usual 30% off once it’s officially announced). Click on the artwork or here to see the Amazon listing (and to pre-order it when available).

That art is pretty slick. We’re REALLY looking forward to this one!

All right, we’re off to the Con. I’ll see some of you in San Diego tomorrow and the rest of you back here this weekend for more breaking news.

Stay tuned!
