Now then, the big announcement news is that our friends at Arrow Video have revealed their February Blu-ray and 4K slate, and it includes a title I first began teasing as coming to 4K way back in May: John Boorman’s Excalibur (1981)! Their 3-disc limited will include a brand new 4K Ultra HD restoration from the original camera negative in the original 1.66:1 aspect ratio for the first time on home video. You’ll get a Blu-ray of both new and legacy special features. And you’ll get a bonus Blu-ray of the 120-minute TV Version of the film. A separate Blu-ray version will also be available. The street date is 2/24/26.

Also coming in February from Arrow are Takashi Shimizu’s The Sana Collection (2023-24) (UK only) on Blu-ray on 2/2, Frank Cappello’s American Yakuza (1993) (UK, US, Canada) on Blu-ray on 2/10, Tsui Hark’s Peking Opera House Blues (1986) (UK only) on Blu-ray and 4K and Jang Joon-hwan’s Save the Green Planet (2003) (UK only) on 4K Ultra HD on 2/16, Giulio Paradisi’s The Visitor (1979) (UK, US, Canada) on 4K Ultra HD on 2/17, and Michael Crichton’s Westworld (1973) (UK, US, Canada) on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD on 2/24! Here’s what the packaging will look like, and you can pre-order here (in the US) and here (in the UK)

Arrow Video's February 2026 slate

Meanwhile, an early listing leak on the Barnes & Noble website has revealed that Shout! Factory’s March slate will include the Coen rothers’ Hail, Caesar! (2016) in 4K Ultra HD on 3/24, as well as Wolfgang Peterson’s Outbreak (1995) in 4K UHD on 3/31.

And just a quick note: Our friend Daniel Griffith at Ballyhoo Motion Pictures is running a Cyber Week sale on many of the Blu-ray and 4K UHD titles for which he’s produced special features. Get 25% off all single Blu-ray/4K titles with the code CW2025, and 30% off all box sets with the code CWBOX30. Click here to visit their online shop! More details are available here.

Back with more soon! Stay tuned…
